Rhonda Watson is an artist and musician living in Pittsburgh, Pa. She is self-taught and began drawing as a child but it wasn't until her mid twenties when she began to take her artistic talent seriously. She began to sell her artworks in her mother's store with prices ranging from $120 to $250 selling a painting every two weeks on average. At that time she was raising her 5 children while creating her art and her music. Needless to say she had her hands full. She was somewhat known in the Tri-State area selling her art at local art shows. Then came the Internet. She was one of the first artists to offer her "Guitar God" portraits and "Pittsburgh" arts on Ebay. She sold over 20 commissioned guitar god portraits but realized that prints sold better than originals because of pricing. It's hard for the average Joe to afford original artwork but, with the affordable pricing of prints, everyone has the opportunity to own Rhonda's work. Soon she discovered art.com where she posted her artworks for print sales. She is now ranked number one in several categories including music. She is also a Pittsburgh musician currently playing keys for "The Businessmen" a band of 40 and 50 somethings who have dedicated their talents to benefit several charity organizations.
